The opportunity…

This UK employer is a leading retailer in their field and this year they celebrate 50 years in business! They have a really welcoming, family-friendly culture and are currently looking for a Senior Web Developer to join their team. This will be a full-time, permanent position based in their offices in Wrexham.

As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for supporting and developing the ecommerce platform across the group's brands. You will ensure the platform is developed to a high standard and identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements.

Their environment is based off the Magento / Akeneo platform and you will work with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React. You'll also be working with a MySQL database and with Docker, Composer, Github to support code management and deployment.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with relevant technologies i.e. PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL
• In depth understanding of JS frameworks i.e. React or similar
• Experience with Docker, Composer, Github
• Experience from within retail / ecommerce environments is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical people
• Excellent communication skills
