Job description

The opportunity…

This organisation are in the initial stages of a complex transformation programme and currently have an opportunity for an Architect to join their team. This is an exciting time to join them as they focus on modernising their ways of working and migrating various platforms into the cloud.

This is a permanent position and the main base will be in Liverpool, but they are a flexible employer and offer WFH options.

What you'll be responsible for…

  • Driving the development of the IT strategy and technical roadmap for the business, focusing on infrastructure change
  • Collaborating with relevant teams and assessing current state and developing future state plans from an infrastructure perspective
  • Delivering enterprise wide solutions architecture within public cloud and hyperconverged environments
  • Working across the infrastructure environment and touching on network architecture, virtualisation, disaster recovery etc.

What you'll bring to the role….

  • Experience working in complex environments and navigating through a period of change / transformation
  • Technically diverse with experience across a range of infrastructure (cloud / on-prem), networking, virtualisation
  • Innovative and able to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations
  • Resilience and the ability to work to a fast pace
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident approach
