FTC - 12 months

Up to £60,000

Myles Roberts is partnered up with a company based in Manchester. They are on the look out for a 12 month fixed-term IT Security Project Manager. This is an exciting time for the company who are in the process of expanding their IT team due to business growth.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of IT Security and will be responsible for the Project Management coordinating Windows Security Engineers and Network Security Engineers. You will lead the identification of security weaknesses and improvements within the server and desktop estates.


  • Coordinate Window Security Engineers ensuring that the Windows server estate and all end-user technologies have been hardened in line with industry accepted hardening practices
  • Coordinate Network Security Engineers to review and improve the network security controls applied within the data centres
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and involve them to create structures for communication / interaction
  • Enforce and identify exceptions to security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Manage own workload and set realistic deadlines
  • Have a good sense of judgment when making decisions using a methodical approach to review options
  • Handle confidential information and be trusted to protect sensitive information
  • Track risks and report progress
  • Willingness to take responsibility for problems that occur


  • Experience working with cyber security standards / frameworks
  • Solid project management experience within IT security projects
  • Project management qualification such as Prince 2 or PMP
